Let me introduce myself, my name is Gilbert Van der Elst and as a child I was always
fascinated by clay and ceramics.
Because I'm constantly bussy with bonsai's, this was the major reason to start with
ceramics.

In 1999 I started to take evening-lessons by a ceramist to learn the throwing.
After a few lessons I was especially interested in the forming of the pots.

Because there are already many pots and shells available, i have chosen to specialize
myself into making shells for Sho-hin and accent-plants.

All pots and shells are made with special clay to protect them from frost.
